MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra represents a slightly upgraded variant of the base Helio G81 chip, aimed at the very cheapest phone segment.
CPU
The chip includes 8 cores: two Cortex-A75 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, all clocked up to 2GHz, built on a relatively older 12nm FinFET process. All eight cores work together thanks to heterogeneous processing technology.
GPU
The chip includes a Mali-G52 MC2 unit with two clusters clocked up to 950MHz, with HyperEngine technology for dynamic management of processing, graphics, and memory. The chip supports up to 120Hz displays, an improvement over the previous Helio G80, which lacked this support.
Memory and Connectivity
The chip supports LPDDR4x memory at 1800MHz, and eMMC 5.1 storage. It includes a 4G-only modem (LTE Cat-7 download / Cat-13 upload), with Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.0.
"}
✅ Pros
